School of Architecture AUTh

Born in Thessaloniki, Greece. She studied at the School of Architecture of N.T.U.A. (MA, 1993), and continued her studies in London at the Bartlett UCL (M.Arch.,1995) and at the A.A .School of Architecture( 2003, Ph.D) under the scholarship of the Greek Scholarship Foundation. She is a full time Assistant Professor at the School of Architecture in NTUA, teaching design and theory. She has also taught in the Graduate school of the AA School of Architecture (1997-1998) and the School of Architecture of the University of Crete (2003-2004).

 

Since 2007 she has been participated as main researcher in four research programmes of NTUA, concerning: The Feasibility study of the modernization and potential expansion of office spaces in the building of the Hellenic Parliament. ( 2007-2008), the feasibility study of the modernization of the National Garden of Athens (2009-2010), the regeneration of the Historical centre of the city of Preveza (2010)and the regeneration of the centre of Athens (2012)

 

As an architect she has been involved in different architectural projects concerning private houses as also public and landscape spaces. She often participates in international architectural competitions and she has won 9 awards and distinctions. She has also worked as a stage and costume designer for 16 theatre productions. 

 

She has published 14 articles in architectural reviews, books, exhibition catalogues and conference proceedings. She is a member of the Administration board, of the National Gallery of Greece since 2011 and a member of the Hellenic Institute of Architecture since 2008.
